Runderlust Athlete Disclaimer & Waiver
By registering and participating in Runderlust, I acknowledge and agree to the following:
1. Assumption of Risk
I understand that participating in Runderlust, including running, fitness challenges, and related festival activities, involves inherent risks including but not limited to injury, illness, dehydration, falls, collisions, and other potential hazards. I voluntarily assume full responsibility for any and all risks, known or unknown, associated with my participation.
2. Health & Medical Condition
I confirm that I am physically fit and in good health to participate in this event. I have not been advised by a medical professional to avoid strenuous physical activity. I accept full responsibility for monitoring my own physical condition throughout the event and will remove myself if I am unwell or injured.
3. Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I waive, release, and discharge the event organizers, directors, sponsors, volunteers, venue owners, and associated entities from any and all claims for injury, loss, or damages arising from participation in Runderlust, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
4. Medical Consent
In the event of an emergency, I authorize qualified medical personnel to provide me with any necessary first aid or medical treatment, and I accept responsibility for all related costs. I also understand that on-site first aid is available but medical care may be limited in nature.
5. Event Rules & Conduct
I agree to abide by all rules, instructions, and guidelines provided by event organizers and marshals. I understand that unsafe, disrespectful, or inappropriate behavior may result in removal from the event without refund. To have your time recorded you must have a Strava account and device with you to record.
6. Alcohol & Substance Use
If consuming alcohol at the event, I agree to do so responsibly and only after completing the physical components of the event. I will not participate under the influence of drugs or alcohol. I understand that any such behavior may result in immediate removal or disqualification.
7. Media Release
I grant full permission to Runderlust and its affiliates to use my name, likeness, voice, image, and any photographs or video captured before, during, or after the event for promotional, advertising, or media purposes without compensation.
8. Minimum Age
Spectators under the age of 16 have free entry to the event. Competitors must be 16 years or older on the day of the event.  After 5pm the minimum age is 18 to be at the event.
9.  Runderlust Cancellation Policy
While we have never cancelled an event to date and will endeavor to maintain this record, if Runderlust must cancel or postpone for any reason you’re entitled to transfer your full payment to another Runderlust Festival (either scheduled or at some future time). Alternatively you may request a refund of your applicable payment, which will be accommodated for completed within 15 business days.
Runderlust is not responsible for your expenses incurred in preparation for any cancelled retreat such as other accommodation, airline tickets, loss of work, and/or other costs associated with preparing for your trip.
If an event is needed to be postponed due to circumstances out of our control you will be provided with your choice of a place on the new event date or a 100% credit voucher to use on any of our escapes.
9.  Competitor Cancellation Policy
Once your registration has been made refunds or transfers are not available for any reason.
